At the Washington Humane Society (WHS), we will proudly take in any animal in need of care. We share this fact often, but it doesn’t always resonate that we truly mean any animal – any species, breed, age, and medical or behavioral condition. This motto proved true on Wednesday, August 15, when an unexpected visitor was found lost in Washington, DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) was alerted to a Pygmy goat just running down the street! He had obviously taken a few wrong turns, and was calculating his next move when he was spotted on V Street, NE, between 31st and 33rd Streets.
