10,000 received a special prize for helping us reach 10K and it turns out, she
is also an adopter! Katie and her husband adopted Jack from our New York
Avenue adoption center this past summer.
“When we adopted him, his name was Skipper Jack, but we shortened it to just Jack. He's a sweetie that loves to snuggle. He is always one step behind me or my husband. So far, his favorite thing to do is crack open the door to the bathroom and lay down with his nose sticking in whenever one of us takes a shower. He also likes to pet the cat, much to Jazz's dismay. Jack will sneak up on the cat while he's sleeping and just lay his paw right on the top of the cats head. It's just too funny to watch. We are very happy to have found him. We really did come to the adoption center that day just to look, but he stole our hearts. I'm so happy we could give him his forever home!”
