This week the Washington Humane Society (WHS) congratulates Spc. David Oliver, Sgt. KariAnn Uecker, WHS Intern Cari Quigley, Humane Officer Dan D’ Eramo, and Animal Caretaker Jordana Todd on their graduation from the Dog Tags program!
David has been with the Dog Tags program for nearly a year now and has completed the full 6-month series of classes. He will be retired this fall and plans to return to his home state of California, bringing along a WHS dog that he is plans to adopt. In the meantime, he will continue to visit WHS as a volunteer, exercising and entertaining our shelter dogs with long walks and play sessions.
KariAnn, Cari, Dan, and Jordana graduated from Level 1 of the Dog Tags program, an 8-week series of classes that includes canine learning theory, training basic good manners for companion dogs, clicker training, and a lot of hands-on training practice with our shelter residents.
Congratulations Graduates!
