WHS is looking for people to foster animals in their home. Right now, we have many kittens, cats, nursing moms and kittens in need of foster care. We are in the height of Kitten Season so our numbers are at their highest at the shelter and we'd like to get some of our wonderful cats and kittens into temporary homes until they find their permanent one.

For information about becoming a foster for WHS, please contact our Foster Program Manager, Alyson Burgess at: Aburgess@washhumane.org or call: 202-723-5730 x149. It's a fairly simple process to get started. A short time in your home means so much to our animals right now.
